The Inverse Burr-Generalized Family of Distributions: Theory and Applications

This paper presents a new class of generalized distributions based on the inverse Burr (Burr III) distribution. Statistical properties proposed family such as density and cumulative distribution functions, survival hazard rate quantile, moments, moment generating function, probability weighted Renyi entropy order statistics are derived. The maximum likelihood estimation method is employed to obtain parameter estimates distributions. A Monte Carlo simulation study conducted in investigate asymptotic behaviour sub-model from Finally, utility lifetime data fittings illustrated using two real sets results obtained were compared some existing non-nested models. Based model selection criteria goodness fit test statistics, it was evident that performed reasonably better than competitor fitting sets.
